As we know, our city is packed with creative musical talent just waiting for a spotlight to shine on, and team at Multi-Track along with Colston hall are looking to provide it.

A free event will be taking place this Thursday at Colston Hall to showcase some of the emerging talents the city has to offer, with headline performances from grime MC and producer Novelist, along with Bristol grime producer OH91.

With his career taking off at the tender age of 17, Novelist is a much-coveted grime artist who has gone from strength to strength with MOBO Award and Mercury Prize nominations under his belt. Not only will Novelist be performing, but he will also host a Q&A session before the show.

OH91 is a Bristol producer and DJ who has quietly honed his craft with mentorship from the likes of Sir Spyro and Grandmixxer. He will be primed to put on a big show in his hometown and inspire other local talents like himself.

Aside from the headliners, the emerging local talent looking to make a name for themselves are contemporary RnB singer Pariah, hip hop producer and rapper Lexus P, rapper and singer Delocx, electronic producer AMELIA, and the genre-bending KAYA.

All of the showcase artists have completed a year’s bespoke mentoring

All of the showcase artists have completed a year’s bespoke mentoring through Bristol Music Trust’s Home Grown Heat artist development scheme, which provides learning opportunities for those operating in Bristol’s underground music scene by connecting aspiring creatives with industry professionals.

The event is free and un-ticketed, so head down to show some support to some of our top rising local talent and be a part of a unique evening of underground urban music.

The Multi-Track live showcase begins at 7pm, with the Q&A beforehand hosted by Novelist beginning at 5.30pm.
