10 questions with DJ Guv

The jump up favourite answers our questions ahead of his first UK tour

Drum and bass producer, Dubz Audio boss and one of the key players in the jump up revival, DJ Guv is about to set off on his first UK tour with a few friends in tow. DJ Guv and Friends kicks off at Lakota on 11 November.

In 2013, Guv won best breakthrough producer at the National Drum and Bass Awards, and in a few short years, he’s amassed a huge following with tracks like Slice & Dice and Warning.

In fact, after a blunder at last year’s Drum and Bass Awards which saw Hazard’s 2014 track Bricks Don’t Roll awarded Best Track of 2016, Hazard handed the award over to its rightful winner – DJ Guv’s Warning, saying: ‘without a shadow of a doubt, in my mind, [DJ Guv] deserves that award for that year.’

The packed lineup includes Dubz Audio label mates Hedex and Dilate, along with Nu Elementz and HizzleGuy

Starting off in one of his favourite cities, join DJ Guv and friends for an explosive start to the UK tour. The packed lineup includes Dubz Audio label mates Hedex and Dilate, along with Nu Elementz and HizzleGuy. With proceeding overseen by MCs Eksman, The Real Stormin’ MC, Trigga and Grima X Azza, this is bound to be a massive night inside one of Bristol’s most iconic venues.
