Saffron Records 101 Masterclass: Booking Agents & Show Promoters, Rough Trade Records
Female-championing Bristol label Saffron Records will be hosting a series of 101 Masterclasses at Rough Trade this March, as they continue to show support for Bristol’s up-and-coming female artists.

This time round, their 101 masterclass will be hosted by two of the directors from Bristol Women in Music, Abbe Rodgers and Jenny Wade (pictured). Both of which are renowned for their industry expertise and have worked with the likes of Quantic, Bonobo and Connie Constance between them. Abbe and Jenny will be taking attendees through a 101 surgery session for planning a tour and working with promoters, offering you applicable advice and the opportunity to network with other creatives. Full info, tickets and more…

International Women’s Day: Hosted by Concrete Jungyals, Hy-Brasil
For this year’s International Women’s Day, Hy-Brasil are throwing one almighty party with a hefty, female heavy lineup to celebrate.

Curated by the reputable Concrete Jungyals collective, you can expect laughter from comedian Roisin Crowley Linton, serenading vocals from Charli Brix, Anna Lisa and Chikaya, as well as turntable magic from the likes of underground hero OH91 B2B Drone, female grime-lord L U C Y, Sicaria Sound, Jaydrop and many more. After their sold-out show at The Fleece last year, alternative rock three-piece Arcane Roots  return to Bristol this March to take over Trinity Centre, continuing to celebrate the release of their brilliantly received new album Melancholia Hymns.

Two years in the making and showcasing some of their greatest music to date, this will no doubt be a show to remember. Jenna & the Gs, Attic Bar
Drum and bass queen Jenna G returns to her musical roots with her live band Jenna & The Gs. Stopping in at the Full Moon & Attic Bar this March, the soul diva will be re-jigging some of her classic dance floor releases with the likes of Netsky, Chase & Status, Zed Bias, Krystal Klear and Uncut for your listening pleasure, as well as debuting some future sounds.
