Everything going on at Rave on Avon's last hurrah at Stokes Croft

It’s that time of year again, the famous Stokes Croft engulfing street party will be having its final hurrah in this location before moving to a new one next year after 11 years of good times, and it will be taking over 11 of your favourite venues with huge amounts of local talent to offer in each place. Here is what to expect at each venue:

Blue Mountain – all day & night

Blue Mountain will have both rooms open all day and night, with the terrace open until 10. Expect to hear a variety of deep house, techno and disco with Fate & Fiction recordings taking over the terrace and upstairs floor, with a line-up including Alfresco Disco, Bedmo Disco, DJ Shy, and a very special guest that is being left a secret.

If you’re looking for something a little harder to start your day, head downstairs for some bouncy trance and hard house, with the likes of Lee Pattison’s Thrilogy, Tuchet and Worm. From 10PM onwards, Planet Fun are in charge of the vibe and be sure to expect an action-packed night without a moments rest.

The heavy hitting Bass Militia will be taking over the main room for the night to provide more bass and bounce to your day. With sets from Off Me Nut duo Phatworld and Ben Suff Donk as well as Lijah B2B Deppz, expect to hear some wobbly basslines and bouncy rhythms.

Coroners Court – all day & night

The beer garden will be open through the day, hosted by Clotted Cream who will be keeping everyone cool with free ice cream for all. With Burger Bear DJs and the Buckfast Boys Club on the lineup, a variety of genres will be on show. Expect some drum and bass, bassline, hip hop and disco.

Two rooms will then open for the nighttime session, hosted by SmokeLife, who will provide sounds from jungle to garage, dubstep and bass. One to look out for will be Charli Brix, performing with Concrete Jungyals, as she provides outstanding vocals over some of the finest jungle and drum and bass from 10 to 11PM

Lakota – all day & night

The South West’s favourite ice cream van Mr Whompy will be serving up some treats outside Lakota during the day, with Whompy residents on roller duty until 4PM, as well as jungle and drum and bass legend Nicky Blackmarket providing the goods from 7 to 8PM.

Head inside in the evening for four rooms of fun, with Mandidextrous’ AMEN4TEKNO, Wide eyes, and ESO x CNCPT bringing in a variety of guests. With the likes of Enei, Mandidextrous and L U C Y providing a wealth of heavy bass and dubs, hard tek and funky beats.

No. 51 Stokes Croft – all day & night

Soul shake will be taking over No.51s for the day, with the Rhythm Works kicking the day off with something more mellow for those wanting to take it easy during the day. Expect all things groovy, as there will be disco, house, funk and soul all night long with Ben Oakland, Bruno, Oli Welch, and French Kiss.

The Rabbit Hole – all day & night

Things will be kicking off at The Rabbit Hole with Supersmash. Expect a roster packed with house, electro, techno and disco, with vinyl sets to boast. Bitch,Please! will be bringing the sass in the evening through to the early hours with Zenzero B2B Thrilogy providing some euphoric drum and bass until 3AM along with Precinct.

Jamaica Street Stores – all night

Noods will be flashing their list of talent at Jamaica Street from 5PM until 2AM. Be sure to catch Billie’s Bounce as Billie George takes the decks at 21:40 until midnight, with other acts including Jenny Wade, Baluoo and Hot Coins. Expect some funky house and other groovy beats.

The Love Inn – all night

Ellie Stokes will bring a disco-packed mix to The Love Inn for the evening, while Restless Nights and Strange Frequency will keep you moving with a bouncy range of house and techno.

The Crofters Rights – all night

Alfresco Disco and Fate and Fiction will head up the road after an afternoon at Blue Mountain to carry on their party at The Crofters Rights. Duvet Vous? will also be joining in on the evening’s action.

Take 5 Café – all night

Method Lab will be providing more techy vibes from 11:30 to 1AM after Ian Apex gets everyone warmed up. With Strictly Yes capping things off from 2:30 onwards. Be ready for a plethora of local talent from Bristol’s techno scene.

Pipe and Slippers – all night

Double Vision are in town all night long at the Pipe and Slippers to supply a mix packed with disco and dance music, for 5 years they have provided Bristolians with fun club nights so expect all your favourite tunes to get your feet moving.

The Crafty Egg – all night

Mood Swings will be around all night to brighten your mood some of the finest in deep and minimal house.

If you weren’t able to grab a ticket in advance, there will be a very limited amount of wristbands available on the day.
