The legendary My Nu Leng & M8s is back this March, this time stepping things up with a secret-location warehouse special. My Nu Leng with longtime collaborator MC Dread, will head up a series of very special back-to-backs.
The Bristol-based duo are a major part of the city’s electronic dance sphere, with a major appreciation for the city’s bass music heritage. Known for their blistering sets and dark vibes, full of heavy drops and absolute bone rattlers, the pair have – unsurprisingly – had nothing but success with their Leng & M8s shows. Last year, all nine dates sold out in advance for the second year in a row.

After their previous parties at Lakota, this March the duo are upping their game and have spent considerable time searching for the ultimate venue to host this floor-shaking event, and we’ve been told we’re in for an absolute treat.
The lineup is jam-packed with musical talent ranging from drum and bass pioneers like Mampi Swift, a force to be reckoned with behind the decks who was there when DnB started to find its sound. He’s joined by Crissy Criss, who currently holds the record for the youngest DJ to have ever broadcast on Radio 1, and MC Eksman for a seven deck set.
GotSome will be sure to drop a lauded and bombastic set full of old school elements and modern production, taking on fellow Bristol head Dismantle
Also on the lineup, house DJ and producer GotSome will be sure to drop a lauded and bombastic set full of old school elements and modern production, taking on fellow Bristol head Dismantle, DJ Die’s favourite partner in crime and emerging bass music talent, along with London’s Klose One, the fast-ascending producer whose unique style and approach is not to be missed.
But leading the lineup of unexpected set comes from original garage badboy DJ Q and top grime producer and the current go-to for heavy bangers Sir Spyro. Simply put: us bass-heads have been spoilt rotten.
Last year’s Bristol My Nu Leng & M8s show raised £1,200 (with the whole tour totalling a decent £11,00) for charity Beating Heart, which went towards educating and feeding children in Malawi. This year, they will be donating £1 from every ticket directly to Bristol mental charity Mind.
