Fieldview Festival says goodbye (for now) with The Mouse Outfit & more

The good eggs at Fieldview Festival are offering Nitelife readers 10% off tickets to this year's event in August

Fieldview 2018 lineup

South West gem Fieldview Festival have announced that they will be taking an indefinite hiatus after this year’s festival in August. While we’re sad to see them go, we can take some consolation in the fact that they’re seeing things out with a bang – inviting longtime Fieldview friends The Mouse Outfit to headline.

The not-for-profit festival is completely run by volunteers, with papa Cameron seen on bacon flipping duty each morning

Set up in 2009 by the Cameron brothers and their friends, the non-profit music and arts festival has grown year-on-year to become an annual highlight for its loyal attendees.

The not-for-profit festival is completely run by volunteers, with papa Cameron seen on bacon flipping duty each morning and an army of friends leading a healthy programme of games and workshops, from speed dating to spoon carving.

What’s more, all surplus funds are donated to charities and good causes – donating over £30,000 to date. Their 2018 campaign is Whale and Dolphin Conservation, who will be on site talking about the important work they do. And, in keeping, this year’s fancy dress theme – strictly adhered to on Fieldview Saturday – is The Natural World.
