Mothers’ Ruin is celebrating its 10th birthday in style with a whole weekend of party antics. With a clientele of indie kids and punk rockers and free entry almost every night of the week, this iconic Bristol pub regularly hosts some of Bristol’s finest live music, as well as having a range of club nights that explore a wide spectrum of genres.
On Friday, indie power-pop solo act Frequency Cowboy will be leading celebrations, along with Bristol’s own rock and rollers True Strays. Soul Poppin’ DJs will follow – keeping the party going until 2am.
On Saturday the party continues till 4am, with a tasty selection of post-punk
On Saturday the party continues till 4am, with a tasty selection of post-punk from Croydon duo Frauds, Bristol’s Dead Royalties and Bristol trio Then Cannons. After all that head banging, you can work out your neck muscles with a selection of tunes from Big Jeff DJing in the cave and Subvulture upstairs.
Both nights are free entry, so there’s no excuse not to wish ‘Ruin a very happy birthday.
