Mac Lloyd reunites with local Bristol label Green Brick Records (headed by Split Prophets’ Res One and Bad Habitz after a few months apart and he still carries that trademark melancholic sound, but this time he has upped the ante and crossed the waters for his first collaboration with Berlin based producer George B. They had a recent encounter on MC El Bizzy’s release last November, with both being the featured producers.
Mac Lloyds captivating vocals will remain in your head for hours
We hope this union is the start of something longterm, as when they are musically entwined the results are soul lifting. The creaky crackles and subdued piano keys sit as comfortably through the speakers of your car as they do atop a gramophone in a time-travelling trip to the 1950s.
The track – titled I Guess (That’s The End) – has it all; Mac Lloyd’s captivating vocals will remain in your head for hours, even days, after your first listen, while George B subtly breaks apart the words with his enticing guitar riffs and a gold medal finish on the production, overall.
a gold medal finish on the production, overall

I Guess (That’s That End) is out on 1 August via Green Brick’s Bandcamp page and will also be available to stream on Spotify. Add it to your playlists, tell your friends and let’s hope that this isn’t the end of their musical endeavours together.
