Bristol-based blues-loving rock n rollers True Strays are closing a 14-date UK tour in celebration of their latest single Lay Down Let Go this weekend, with a live launch party at Mothers’ Ruin. Nitelife is delighted to premier the new single ahead of official release tomorrow.

Though True Strays’ influences range from Muddy Waters to Queens of the Stone Age, their latest track emphasises their rock sensibilities, with grungey guitar and galloping percussion framing a call to arms in the war against our own social media newsfeeds.

This is a band known for their live performance, so join them at Mothers’ Ruin on Saturday 24 November for a slice of the live action, with support from Bristol via Belfast rising folk and blues artist Ryan McMurtry.
