Old Market’s hidden gem To the Moon is launching their new, weekly clubnight this Friday. One Soul, a strictly-vinyl affair, will provide a grooving haven where you can move those feet and feed your soul with nothing but the best in danceable soul music.

Different DJs will play weekly, delivering tunes across a range of different eras and soul-related genres, as To the Moon aims to bring like-minded people together to appreciate great music.

Kicking One Soul off to a great start, DJ Joe Elmer James will be leading the launch event with his band of Soul Sindicate DJs. Guests can expect to hear a toe-tingling mix of quality 60s, soul, R&B, Latin and much more. As always, it’s free entry, plus an extended happy hour with 2 for 1 cocktails from 6-8pm.

Joe has treated Nitelife to an exclusive hour-long vinyl mix to give us a taste of what to expect this Friday night. The infectious mix contains nothing but feel good vibes with a cacophony of sexy saxaphones, sporadic ska beats and a sprinkle of mod jazz, psych and freakbeat – basically, everything and anything with a bucket load of soul. Some tunes you may know and many you may not, but rest assured once you start listening you won’t be able to stop.
